Carlos Sáenz Herrera (Brussels, Belgium, 1 September 1910 – Saint José, 7 November 1980) was a Vice President of Costa Rica. He also served as a pioneer pediatrician in Costa Rica.
His parents were José Carlos Sáenz Esquivel and Úrsula Celina Herrera and Paut. He married his first wife in Carthage, Costa Rica, on 4 December 1937. Her name was María Virginia Pacheco Gutiérrez, daughter of José Joaquín Pacheco Cooper and Carlota Gutiérrez Urtecho. His second wife, married on 1 September 1958, was Ángela Carbonell Massenet. She was the daughter of Francisco of Take Carbonell I Reverter and Juana Bautista Massenet Pozo.
His primary studies were in the School Juan Rafael Dwells and secondary the Liceo of Costa Rica in Saint José where obtained his baccalaureate. When he finished his secondary studies he traveled to Belgium (1928), where graduated of doctor in Medicine in the Free University of Brussels (1934). Later he specialized in pediatrics in the University of Strasbourg, and returned to Costa Rica in 1935.

Lars L'Abée-Lund (22 April 1910 – 17 May 1991) was a Norwegian police officer and judge. He was born in Aker. From 1945 to 1950 L'Abée-Lund was in charge of the department responsible for the Legal purge in Norway after World War II. He served as judge at Eidsivating Court of Appeal from 1968 to 1980. He was decorated Commander of the Swedish Order of Vasa, and Knight, First Class of the Danish Order of the Dannebrog.

Andreas Aubert (3 August 1910 – 11 May 1956) was a Norwegian resistance member during the Second World War. He joined Norwegian Independent Company 1 in 1942 where he later became an ensign.Aubert was born in Oslo. His older brother, Kristian Aubert (1909-1942), was also an active resistance member during the war but was captured by Gestapo and died of torture in 1942. Aubert was the first prisoner tortured to death by the Germans at Grini. Under the cruel torture he revealed nothing and he thus saved the lives of many he had worked with.Aubert soon became one of the key members of the sabotage group Oslogjengen, which was under the command of Gunnar Sønsteby. Due to his leadership skills, he was often chosen to perform the most demanding missions carried out by the group. In early May 1945 Aubert among other members of Oslogjengen secured the archives in the Department of Justice, which revealed the actions the Nazis in Norway during the war.
When the Norwegian royal family returned to Norway after the war, Aubert served as a bodyguard.
He received the War Cross with sword, St. Olav's Medal With Oak Branch and the H. M. The King's Commemorative Medal with bar 1940-1945.
After the war Aubert lived a restless and tense life. He died in Oslo in 1956 at the age of 45 and is buried at the Vestre gravlund cemetery.

Finn Halse (26 August 1910 – 9 April 1980) was a Norwegian jurist, publisher, translator and writer. He was born in Kristiania. He made his literary debut in 1948 with the novel Guden fra Matto Grosso. Halse wrote more the 300 books during his career, and is regarded as the Norwegian writer with the highest number of published books. He wrote westerns, crime novels and erotic novels, published under a variety of pseudonyms. He died in Mallorca in 1980.

Ferdinand Oscar Finne (12 October 1910 – 31 December 1999) was a Norwegian author, painter, graphic artist, theater decorator and costume designer.

Christine "Chris" Bruusgaard (14 January 1910 – 22 September 2000) was a Norwegian midwife.
She was born in Kristiania to naval officer, later admiral Elias Corneliussen and Dagny Ree, and was married to physician Arne Bruusgaard. After studies in Scotland, England, France and Oslo, she graduated as midwife in Bergen in 1934. She worked at Mødrehygienekontoret in Oslo, which she chaired from 1945. Also, inspired by the pioneer Katti Anker Møller, she toured giving lectures on birth control, at a time when the subjects of sex information and contraception still were more or less taboo.She was awarded the Medal of St. Hallvard in 1974.

Alf Brodal (25 January 1910 – 29 February 1988) was a Norwegian professor of anatomy.

Edgar Domingo Evia y Joutard, known professionally as Edgar de Evia (July 30, 1910 – February 10, 2003), was a Mexican-born American interiors photographer.
In a career that spanned the 1940s through the 1990s, his photography appeared in magazines and newspapers such as ' House & Garden, Look and The New York Times Magazine and advertising campaigns for Borden Ice Cream and Jell-O.

Jens Henrik Nordlie (18 January 1910 – 2 April 1996) was a Norwegian military officer, resistance fighter from World War II and businessperson. He participated in the Norwegian Campaign in 1940, and was a member of Milorg's leadership in 1941. He worked for the Norwegian High Command in London from 1943, leading one of the two sections of department 4 (FO IV). He contributed to the post-war investigation committee, Undersøkelseskommisjonen av 1945, where he wrote the appendix on the fighting in Norway in spring 1940. He was operative leader of the clandestine Stay behind in Norway. He was CEO of the company Narvesen from 1957 to 1975, and a co-founder of the organization Fritt Ord.

Maria del Pilar Cordero (March 1, 1910 – August 2, 1998), better known as Mapy Cortés, was a Puerto Rican actress who participated in many films during the Golden Age of Mexican cinema, where she became one of the industry's most beloved and bankable stars of the 1940s.
