Mortimer "Bud" Sprague (September 8, 1904 – April 25, 1973) was an American football player. He was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1970.He was one of the eight children born to Minna and George Sprague, of the Oak Cliff neighborhood in Dallas, Texas. Bud's father George served on the Dallas City Council and as the Mayor of Dallas from 1937 to 1939. Bud originally played on University of Texas' varsity football team, and later transferred to the United States Military Academy to play out his eligibility for the Army Black Knights. Eventually Bud settled in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan and made his fortune in maritime insurance. He named his son, Kurth Sprague, after his mentor.

Gerhard Adler (14 April 1904 – 23 December 1988) was a major figure in the world of analytical psychology, known for his translation into English from the original German and editorial work on the Collected Works of Carl Gustav Jung. He also edited C.G. Jung Letters, with Aniela Jaffe. With his wife Hella, he was a founding member of the Society of Analytical Psychology in London, of which C.G. Jung was first President. Despite their years-long collaboration on translating and editing, Adler's allegiance to Jung and the "Zurich school" caused irreconcilable differences with Michael Fordham, and led to his leaving the Society of Analytical Psychology and founding the Association of Jungian Analysts.

Robert Degos (1904–1987) was a French dermatologist who described several dermatoses including Degos disease which he first described in a seminal paper published in 1942 in the French journal of dermatology and syphilology.

Edgar Petersen (26 April 1904 – 10 June 1986) was a German bomber pilot and officer in the Luftwaffe during World War II.

Czesław Jacek Centkiewicz (October 18, 1904 – July 10, 1996) was a Polish engineer, explorer, writer and journalist. He is best known for a number of books he authored (or co-authored with his wife Alina Centkiewicz) on history of exploration of polar areas and the daily life of Inuit.

Reidar Aulie (13 March 1904 – 23 November 1977) was a Norwegian artist.

Johan Ernst Fredrik Føyn (28 March 1904 – 2 November 1984) was a Norwegian chemist and oceanographer. He was born in Kristiania. He was assigned professor of oceanography at the University of Oslo from 1964. His research centered on radioactivity of ocean waters, and on pollution of the oceans. He designed a method for electrolytic cleaning of sewage.

Henry "Tippen" Johansen (21 July 1904 – 29 May 1988) was a Norwegian footballer who played as a goalkeeper for Vålerenga. He later managed the club.

Ramiro L. Colón (1904–1983), was the general manager of the Cooperativa de Cafeteros de Puerto Rico. He reorganized the company during its time of crisis and is credited with having saved the coffee industry in Puerto Rico.
