Alain Marie Juppé (French pronunciation: [alɛ̃ maʁi ʒype]; born 15 August 1945) is a French politician. A member of The Republicans, he was Prime Minister of France from 1995 to 1997 under President Jacques Chirac, during which period he faced major strikes that paralysed the country and became very unpopular. He left office after the victory of the left in the snap 1997 legislative elections. He had previously served as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1993 to 1995, and as Minister of the Budget and Spokesman for the Government from 1986 to 1988. He was president of the political party Union for a Popular Movement (UMP) from 2002 to 2004 and mayor of Bordeaux from 1995 to 2004.
After the ghost jobs affair in December 2004, Juppé suspended his political career until he was re-elected as mayor of Bordeaux in October 2006. He served briefly as Minister of State for Ecology and Sustainable Development in 2007, but resigned in June 2007 after failing in his bid to be re-elected in the 2007 legislative election. He was Minister of Defence and Veterans Affairs from 2010 to 2011 and Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2011 to 2012.
Juppé announced in 2015 his intention to contest his party's primary election ahead of the 2017 presidential election. He came in second place in the first open primary of the right and centre, and in the run-off, he lost to François Fillon. At the beginning of 2019, he accepted a nomination to become a member of the French Constitutional Council and subsequently announced that he would be resigning as mayor of Bordeaux.

Camille de Rocca Serra (born 21 May 1954 in Porto-Vecchio) was the president of the regional council of Corsica between 2004 and 2010. He was a member of the Union for a Popular Movement (UMP).He was also the UMP deputy for Corse-du-Sud's 2nd constituency in the national assembly of France from 2002 to 2017. At the 2007 election, he was re-elected with 51.02% in the first round.

Marie-Anne Montchamp (born 1 November 1957) is a French politician who served as a member of the National Assembly, represents a constituency in the Val-de-Marne department. From 2010 to 2012, she served as Secretary of State for Solidarities and Social Cohesion under Minister Roselyne Bachelot-Narquin.

Bruno Le Roux (French pronunciation: [bʁyno lə ʁu]; born 2 May 1965) is a French politician of the Socialist Party who served as the Minister of the Interior of France from 6 December 2016 to 21 March 2017.

François Lamy (French pronunciation: [fʁɑ̃swa lami]; born 31 October 1959) is a French politician who, until his appointment as Junior Minister for Urban Affairs at the newly created Ministry of Territorial Equality and Housing by President François Hollande on 16 May 2012, was a member of the National Assembly of France where he represented the 6th constituency of Essonne on behalf of the Socialist Party.He is a close adviser of Martine Aubry, and was her campaign manager in the primary election to choose the Socialist Party's candidate for the French presidential election of 2012.

Alain Claeys (born 25 August 1948) is a French politician. He is a member of the Socialist Party, former Mayor of Poitiers (2008-2020) and a former member of the National Assembly of France for the first constituency of the Vienne department (1997-2017). He sits in the Socialist, Radical, Citizen and Miscellaneous Left group in the National Assembly.
In 2013, as Mayor of Poitiers, he decides the sale of the Poitiers Theater and the destruction of this hall designed by the French architect Édouard Lardillier and built in 1954, in order to realize a commercial gallery and some flats, through a controversial real estate business.He graduated from the University of Poitiers.

Henri Plagnol (born February 11, 1961, in Paris) is a French politician who has served on the National Assembly. He represented the Val-de-Marne department, from 1997 to 2002, and again from 2007 to 2012. Throughout his legislature tenure, Plagnol has been affiliated with the Union for French Democracy, the Union for a Popular Movement and the Union of Democrats and Independents.Plagnol served as deputy mayor of Saint-Maur-des-Fossés from 1997, and contested the office in 2008, after Jean-Louis Beaumont chose not to run for reelection. Plagnol remained mayor until 2014, when he lost reelection to Sylvain Berrios.

Georges Tron (born 1 August 1957 in Neuilly-sur-Seine) is a French politician. He served as Secretary of Public Affairs in the Cabinet of François Baroin but resigned after accusations of sexual assault were made against him. He was mayor of Draveil from 1995 to 2021, and only resigned from that role several months into his 3-years prison sentence for rape.
