Tore_Planke

Tore Planke (born 25 January 1943) is a Norwegian engineer, inventor and businessperson.
He was born in Oslo to Sverre Martens Planke and Vivien Brath, and is a brother of Petter Planke. He was married to Grete Lind from 1970 to 1991, and to Ingrid Elisabeth Planke from 1994.Planke graduated from the Norwegian Institute of Technology in 1969, specializing in cybernetics. He co-founded the industry company Tomra in 1972, along with his brother. The company produced reverse vending machines based on his inventions using electronics and optics for recognizing the bottles.

Chris_Andrews_(entrepreneur)

Chris Andrews (August 13, 1956 - June 13, 2012) was an entrepreneur who worked with digital media, electronic publishing, and the Internet. He was the first CD-ROM producer, launched the first CD-Recordable system which began the "user generated content" revolution. He developed technologies in other areas including live webcasting, use of audio and video on the internet, and intellectual property.Andrews was the author of "The Education of a CD-ROM Publisher - An Insiders History of Electronic Publishing."Andrews' story was featured in a profile on CBS' 60 Minutes. In 2001, he began to pursue the restitution of a building in Vienna, Austria that was taken from his family by the Nazis in World War II. This became a life-changing experience for him, making him an activist in particular in World War II restitution.
Chris also worked at Hewlett-Packard, NewsBank, Meridian Data, and the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences. He launched several companies including the webcast software company Livecast, the multimedia publishing company UniDisc, and VentureMakers LLC - an intellectual property development company.

Ramón_Areces

Ramón Areces Rodríguez (1904 in La Mata (Grado), Asturias, Spain – 1989 in Madrid, Spain) was a Spanish businessman.
At fifteen, Areces emigrated to Havana, Cuba. There he learned the basics of the business, working at EL ENCANTO Department Store. He later traveled through the United States and Canada, before returning to Spain. When he returned to Madrid in 1935, he opened up a small tailor shop on the calle Preciados. Areces used the techniques he learned on his trip, and his business grew, quite unexpectedly. In July 1940 he opened the first El Corte Inglés department store in Madrid, Spain.

Richard_Oseran

Richard Oseran is an Arizona-born Jewish American lawyer and entrepreneur. A third-generation Arizonan, Oseran practiced law for many years arguing before the U.S. Supreme Court. He and his wife Shana have been instrumental in the early 21st-century revitalization of Downtown Tucson, Arizona. Together they redeveloped the boutique historic Hotel Congress, the Cup Café, Club Congress, Maynards' Market and Maynards' kitchen.Oseran was born in Phoenix, Arizona, on May 8, 1945, and moved to Tucson, Arizona, in 1963 to attend the University of Arizona and the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law. Richard and Shana were married in 1979 and spent a year in New Zealand.In the early 1980s Oseran practiced civil litigation.

Luciano Caldas Bivar (born 29 November 1944) is a Brazilian politician and businessman. He is current a Deputy for Pernambuco as well as leader of the Brazil Union. Previously he was Social Liberal Party presidential candidate for the 2006 Brazilian general election. He received 0.06% of the total vote and did not progress to the second round. He was President of the Social Liberal Party from 2018 until it merged with the Democrats to become the Brazil Union.
Born in Recife, Bivar was the president of Sport Club do Recife from 1989 to 1990, from 1997 to 2001, from 2005 to 2006, and in 2013.

Charles_Frédéric_Kuhlmann

Charles Frédéric Kuhlmann (22 May 1803 – 27 January 1881) was a French chemist who patented the reaction for converting ammonia to nitric acid, which was later used in the Ostwald process.He was both a research scientist and a professor at Université Lille Nord de France. He promoted chemical engineering education for science graduates in Lille and supported the development of École centrale de Lille (IDN).
As an entrepreneur starting in 1829, he established his own chemical company producing sulfuric acid. This company later merged into Pechiney Ugine Kuhlmann group.
