Hendrik "Henk" Hordijk (19 September 1893 – 4 December 1975) was a Netherlands association football player, who played as a midfielder for AFC Ajax and for the Netherlands national team.

Nelly van Doesburg (née Petronella Johanna van Moorsel; 27 July 1899 in The Hague – 1 October 1975 in Meudon) was a Dutch avant-garde musician, dancer, artist and art collector. She performed under her dadaïst alias Pétro van Doesburg and used the pseudonym Cupera for her work as a painter.

Charles Frederick Rogers (December 30, 1921 – disappeared June 23, 1965) was an American seismologist, pilot, and murder suspect who disappeared in June 1965 after police discovered the dismembered bodies of his elderly parents in the refrigerator of the Houston home all three shared, in what the media later dubbed "The Icebox Murders". Rogers has never been found and was declared dead in absentia in July 1975. He remains the only suspect in the murders, which are still considered unsolved.

Trygve Dehli Laurantzon (20 March 1902 – 21 May 1975) was a Norwegian agronomist and newspaper editor.
He was born in Kristiania as a son of Major General Jacob Ager Laurantzon (1878–1965) and Bergljot Dehli (1878–1968). On the maternal side he was a grandson of jurist and organizational leader Ole Dehli, and a nephew of Halfdan Gyth Dehli.
In 1928 he married Johanne Sandberg (1903–1985), a daughter of farmer, officer and politician Ole Rømer Aagaard Sandberg (1865–1925). As such he was a brother-in-law of Ole Rømer Aagaard Sandberg, farmer and MP from Furnes. Laurantzon died in May 1975 in Hamar.During the German occupation of Norway he edited the magazine Norsk Jord from 1941 to 1945. During the last phase of the Second World War he edited the newspaper Nationen for two and a half months, and headed the collaborationist Quisling regime's Ministry of Agriculture for a short period from April to May 1945. In the legal purge in Norway after World War II he was convicted of treason and sentenced to fifteen years of forced labor, only to be released in 1950.

Fernando Baudrit Solera (October 23, 1907 – 1975) was a Costa Rican jurist.
Born in Heredia, he was the son of Oscar Baudrit González and Carmen Solera Pérez. He married Adilia Gómez Mesén. He graduated from the Law School of Costa Rica. He was a professor and dean of the College of Law at the University of Costa Rica, rector of the university from 1946 to 1953, member of the Asamblea Constituyente of 1949, and president of the Bar Association.
He was selected to be Magistrate of the Assembly of Annulment of the Supreme Court of Costa Rica for the period 1955–1963 and was re-appointed for the periods 1963–1971 and 1971–1979, although he died during the latter.
He presided over the Assembly of Annulment and the Supreme Court as a whole from 1955 until his death. His term as president of the Supreme Court is the longest in Costa Rican history and is considered one of the most brilliant. He was succeeded by the Fernando Coto Albán.

Abraham Moffat (24 September 1896 – 28 March 1975) was a Scottish trade unionist and communist activist. He was elected repeatedly to high office in the trade unions and represented the union on government coal boards. He held major union offices: President of the National Union of Scottish Mine Workers; member of the executive committee of the Miners' Federation of Great Britain; Vice-chairman Scottish Regional Coal Board; and member National Coal Board. He served as president of the union from 1942 to his retirement in 1961, when he was succeeded by his younger brother Alex Moffat, also an activist.
Joining the Communist Party of Great Britain (CPGB) in 1922, Abe Moffat was active in a variety of ways. In 1924 he was elected as a communist candidate to the Ballingry Parish Council, serving for 5 years. He was appointed as a full-time official of the United Mineworkers of Scotland, a communist union, becoming its general secretary in 1931. He served until 1935, when the union dissolved. He was also elected to the Central Committee of the CPGB in 1932.

Lex McLean (born Alexander McLean Cameron, 30 April 1907 — 23 March 1975) was a Scottish comedian.
Described as "almost certainly the last of Scotland's great music hall comedians", he played to capacity houses all over Scotland from the late 1950s to the early 1970s, when he had to semi-retire on the grounds of ill health.
Known as "Sexy Lex" for his risque but never obscene humour, McLean's act was even passed by the Lord Chamberlain.At the peak of his popularity in the 1960s, he appeared in the BBC Scotland comedy series Lex and Lex Again. A fan of Rangers, he had Ibrox legend George Young appear as a guest on his television show.
McLean was a Freemason, and member of Lodge Dramatic No 571 in Glasgow, where he was a participant in the Lodge's festivities.
