Joseph McFadden (born 9 October 1975) is a Scottish actor, best known for his roles in The Crow Road, Sex, Chips & Rock n' Roll, Heartbeat and Holby City. He won the 2017 series of the BBC One series Strictly Come Dancing with professional dance partner Katya Jones.
Thomas McGinty (1 April 1952 – 20 February 1995), known as The Diceman, was a Scottish-Irish actor, model, and street artist specialising in mime. Born in Scotland of Irish parentage, McGinty spent much of his life and career in Ireland, where he became a landmark living statue and one of the country's most popular street performers. He appeared in various plays and films, and through his work promoted political causes including gay rights in Ireland; he has been dubbed a "gay icon". He died in 1995 at age 42, from complications of AIDS.

Daniel Porter (born 13 February 1992), known professionally as Daniel Portman, is a Scottish actor. He is best known for playing the role of Podrick Payne in the television series Game of Thrones (2012–2019). He has since appeared as Stuart in the Black Mirror episode "Loch Henry" (2023).
Charles John Naughton (21 April 1886 – 11 February 1976) was a Scottish comedian.Naughton was born in Glasgow. He was a member of The Crazy Gang, and part of a double act, Naughton and Gold with fellow Glaswegian Jimmy Gold. In 1955, he starred in the first Guinness television commercial, playing the zoo-keeper with a German seal. He died in London.
His daughter, Sally, was a pre-war actress on stage and with British-Gaumont films, appearing under the name Sally Stewart. As a 23-year-old she married in an Edinburgh solicitor's office in January 1939 to Peter Croft, 21-year-old British film actor, son of Ann Croft, actress. Sally's daughter, Naughton's granddaughter, Sally-Anne Stapleford is a five-time British champion in figure skating in the ladies event and won the silver medal at the 1965 European Figure Skating Championships.
Lex McLean (born Alexander McLean Cameron, 30 April 1907 — 23 March 1975) was a Scottish comedian.
Described as "almost certainly the last of Scotland's great music hall comedians", he played to capacity houses all over Scotland from the late 1950s to the early 1970s, when he had to semi-retire on the grounds of ill health.
Known as "Sexy Lex" for his risque but never obscene humour, McLean's act was even passed by the Lord Chamberlain.At the peak of his popularity in the 1960s, he appeared in the BBC Scotland comedy series Lex and Lex Again. A fan of Rangers, he had Ibrox legend George Young appear as a guest on his television show.
McLean was a Freemason, and member of Lodge Dramatic No 571 in Glasgow, where he was a participant in the Lodge's festivities.
Angus Wilson Lennie (18 April 1930 – 14 September 2014) was a Scottish film and theatre character actor with a 50-year career span. His numerous credits include the character of Flying Officer Archibald Ives in The Great Escape, and Shughie McFee in the television soap opera Crossroads.

He made guest appearances in television series such as The Sweeney, Doctor Who, Taggart, A Touch of Frost, The Bill and The Return of Sherlock Holmes in The Adventure of Silver Blaze.
