Octave_Hamelin

Octave Hamelin (22 July 1856 in Montpellier – 11 September 1907 in Prades, Pyrénées-Orientales) was a French philosopher. He taught as a professor at the University of Bordeaux (1884-) and the University of Sorbonne (1905-). Hamelin was a close friend of the sociologist Émile Durkheim, with whom he shared an interest in the French philosopher Charles Renouvier. He is also known as a translator of classical Greek philosophers.Hamelin drowned in 1907, attempting to save two young women.

Hendrikje_van_Andel-Schipper

Hendrikje van Andel-Schipper ([ˈɦɛndrɪkjə vɑn ˈɑndəl ˈsxɪpər]; born Hendrikje Schipper; 29 June 1890 – 30 August 2005) was a Dutch supercentenarian who lived to the age of 115 years, 62 days. She is the oldest person ever from the Netherlands, breaking the previous record of Catharina van Dam on 26 September 2003, and from 29 May 2004 was thought to be the oldest verified person in the world. She became the oldest living person in the Netherlands on 16 February 2001, at the age of 110 years and 232 days.

Fernando_Baudrit_Solera

Fernando Baudrit Solera (October 23, 1907 – 1975) was a Costa Rican jurist.
Born in Heredia, he was the son of Oscar Baudrit González and Carmen Solera Pérez. He married Adilia Gómez Mesén. He graduated from the Law School of Costa Rica. He was a professor and dean of the College of Law at the University of Costa Rica, rector of the university from 1946 to 1953, member of the Asamblea Constituyente of 1949, and president of the Bar Association.
He was selected to be Magistrate of the Assembly of Annulment of the Supreme Court of Costa Rica for the period 1955–1963 and was re-appointed for the periods 1963–1971 and 1971–1979, although he died during the latter.
He presided over the Assembly of Annulment and the Supreme Court as a whole from 1955 until his death. His term as president of the Supreme Court is the longest in Costa Rican history and is considered one of the most brilliant. He was succeeded by the Fernando Coto Albán.

Marcel_Renault

Marcel Renault (14 May 1872 – 26 May 1903) was a French racing driver and industrialist, co-founder of the carmaker Renault. He was the brother of Louis and Fernand Renault.
Marcel Renault, Louis Renault, and Fernand Renault co-founded Renault Frères based on a automobile prototype built by Louis. The brothers took orders to construct new automobiles as early as 1899.Renault was born in Paris; he and his brothers jointly founded the Renault company on 25 February 1899. He and Louis raced the cars it built starting the next year. He died in Payré, at the age of 31, of severe injuries he sustained during the Paris-Madrid race.
After his death, a statue was built in Renault's memory which later would be destroyed by the German attacks during World War II.
