Rune_Johan_Andersson

Rune Johan Andersson (born 5 March 1945) is a Norwegian cartoonist, illustrator and children's writer.
From 1970 to 1984 he worked as illustrator for the newspaper Dagbladet, and later for Aftenposten. Among his books are Glemmeboken from 2001, Rottenes plan og andre forunderlige fabler from 2003, and Ørkensang from 2012. He is represented at the National Gallery of Norway, Riksgalleriet and other art galleries.

Finn_Hald

Finn Hald (8 July 1929 – 17 October 2010) was a Norwegian ceramist, sculptor, illustrator, poet and playwright. He was married to Dagny Revold. Among his books are Revestreker from 1970 and the short story collection Fuglesirkuset from 1978. He published Mellom to stoler from 1980, Sidespor from 1986 and Oppsving from 1996, all in collaboration with his wife Dagny Hald and designer Roar Høyland.

Ada_Madssen

Ada Madssen (9 February 1917 – 22 September 2009) was a Norwegian sculptor.
She was born in Kristiania. She studied under Wilhelm Rasmussen and Axel Revold at the Norwegian National Academy of Fine Arts from 1938 to 1940. The National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design owns three of her works, and she is also known for statues of Queen Maud near the Royal Palace, Oslo (erected 1959) and Camilla Collett at Eidsvoll (erected 1977). In 2007 she was decorated as a Knight First Class of the Royal Norwegian Order of St. Olav.

Charles Banks Wilson (August 6, 1918 – May 2, 2013) was an American artist. Wilson was born in Springdale, Arkansas in 1918; his family eventually moved to Miami, Oklahoma, where he spent his childhood. A painter, printmaker, teacher, lecturer, historian, magazine and book illustrator, Wilson's work has been shown in over 200 exhibitions in the United States and across the globe.Permanent collections of Wilson's work are housed in some of the most renowned museums and art galleries in the world. These include New York's Metropolitan Museum, Washington's Library of Congress, the Corcoran Gallery and the Smithsonian. Works by Wilson are a prominent feature of the Oklahoma State Capitol.

William Reynold Brown (October 18, 1917 – August 24, 1991) was an American realist artist who painted many Hollywood film posters. He was also briefly active as a comics artist.

Peter Andrew Gowland (April 3, 1916 – March 17, 2010) was a famous American glamour photographer and actor. He was known for designing and building his own studio equipment and was active professionally for six decades with his business partner, Alice Beatrice Adams, whom he married in 1941.
