Mike Yurosek (September 28, 1922 – June 12, 2005) was a California farmer known as the "father of the baby carrot."

Joe D. Montgomery (January 28, 1918 – October 5, 2013) was an American politician, educator, and businessman.
Born in Floydada, Texas, he served in the United States Army Air Forces during World War II. He graduated from Colorado State University. Montgomery went to San Francisco, California and then moved to Anchorage, Alaska where he was an educator, principal, and superintendent of the Anchorage Public Schools. He also owned an automobile agency. He served two terms as a Republican in the Alaska House of Representatives from 1979 to 1983. He died in Anchorage, Alaska.

Richard Rowland Coons (December 13, 1929 – November 28, 2003) was a California landscape and marine painter and author of the book Robert Clunie: Plein-Air Painter of the Sierra. He owned Coons Gallery in Bishop, California, the original art studio and residence built by the artist Robert Clunie.

Jim Drake (1929 – 2012) was an American aeronautical engineer who is widely credited with the invention of the sport of Windsurfing. He patented his windsurfing concept in 1968. Drake conceptualized, designed and hand built the first board and articulating sail rig prototype in his garage. He started the sport's first company, Windsurfing International. He produced multiple championship winning windsurfing board designs throughout his career, as well as created a popular offshoot of windsurfing with the world's first un-masted wing sail. Drake would go on to become an altruistic figure head for the sport he pioneered over the course of his lifetime.

Harry L. Lewis (April 1, 1920 – June 9, 2013) was a supporting actor in films and was the founder, along with his wife Marilyn, of the Hamburger Hamlet restaurant chain.

John S. Rodgers (born July 29, 1965) is an American politician who served in the Vermont Senate from the Essex-Orleans district from 2013 to 2021. He previously served in the Vermont House of Representatives from the Orleans-Caledonia 1 district from 2003 to 2011.He ran as a write-in candidate in the Democratic primary for Governor of Vermont in 2018.Rodgers also proposed a controversial bill proposing the banning of cellphone use for people under the age of 21.Rogers lives on a farm which has been in his family for over 200 years.

Harold Gene Moss (October 1, 1929 – September 21, 2020) was an American politician and businessman who was the 34th mayor of Tacoma, Washington. He was the first African American member of the city's council, its first African American mayor and the first African American member of the Pierce County Council. His wife, Bil Moss, was on the Tacoma City Council.
