Martin Mehren (8 August 1905 – 2 October 2002) was a Norwegian businessperson and sportsperson.He was born in Kristiania (now Oslo), Norway. He was the son of merchant Herman Mehren (1875-1941) and Agnethe Ingberg (1882-1937), and was an uncle of poet Stein Mehren.Mehren became Norwegian champion in rowing several times, and twice Scandinavian champion. During the summer of 1931, he crossed Greenland on ski with Arne Høygaard, travelling from Uummannaq to Nordfjord.Together with his brother, Arne Mehren (1910-1990), he chaired the clothing company Herman Mehren AS from 1935, which had been established by his father in 1903. He chaired the Norwegian Trekking Association from 1953 to 1957, and was a member of the advisory board from 1957 to 1981.His brother's son was the poet Stein Mehren.
Benjamín Galván Gómez (10 June 1972 – 28 February 2014) was a Mexican businessman and politician of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). He was the mayor of Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, from 1 January 2011 to 30 September 2013. His political projects focused on promoting education, improving the standards of living, and in bringing back a sense of public security to the citizens of the city. He also owned the newspapers Primera Hora and Última Hora. During his mayoral administration in Nuevo Laredo, Galván received numerous threats from organized crime. Five months after his term, he was kidnapped and killed by alleged members of the Los Zetas crime syndicate.

Thomas Fredrik Olsen or Fred Olsen (born 1 January 1929) is a Norwegian shipping magnate and Chairman of the companies in the Fred. Olsen & Co. company. He is the fourth generation running the Fred. Olsen Group, founded by his great grandfather Petter Olsen and named after his grandfather Thomas Fredrik Olsen. Though he remains the chairman of the companies, ownership and CEO functions are retained by his daughter Anette S. Olsen. In addition to his jobs within the Fred. Olsen group he was for a period also chairman of the Aker Group.

Olsen has previously been involved in a legal dispute with his younger brother, Petter Olsen, concerning the important Munch collection brought together by their father Thomas Fredrik Olsen; according to the will of their mother Henriette Olsen, they were to be left to the younger son. Fred Olsen contested the will but lost the case in the Oslo District Court in 2001.He is a fellow of the Norwegian Academy of Technological Sciences.
