Gérard Blitz (1 August 1901 – 8 March 1979) was a Belgian Olympic swimmer and water polo player who competed at the 1920, 1924, 1928 and 1936 Olympics. He was the younger brother of Maurice Blitz, also a water polo player, and uncle of Gérard Blitz who founded Club Med in 1950.
Rudolf Ismayr (14 October 1908 – 9 May 1998) was a German weightlifter. He won a gold medal at the 1932 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles and a silver medal at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin, as well as a silver medal at the 1938 World Championships. Marcel Henri Vandernotte (29 July 1909 – 15 December 1993) was a French rower who competed in the 1932 Summer Olympics and in the 1936 Summer Olympics.
He was born in Nantes. He was the younger brother of Fernand Vandernotte and the uncle of Noël Vandernotte. In 1932 he was eliminated with his brother Fernand in the repechage of the coxed pair event. Four years later he won the bronze medal as crew member of the French boat in the coxed four competition.
André Gardère (8 May 1913 – 16 February 1977) was a French foil and sabre fencer. He won a silver medal in the team foil event at the 1936 Summer Olympics.
André Jousseaume (27 July 1894 in Yvré-l'Évêque – 26 May 1960 in Chantilly) was a French equestrian and Olympic champion. He won a gold medal in team dressage at the 1932 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, and another gold medal at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London.
