Kjersti Døvigen (27 June 1943 – 26 January 2021) was a Norwegian actress. She was known, among other things, for her role in the popular Norwegian TV-drama Offshore.At the age of seven, Kjersti started dancing, her career began as a ballet dancer. She worked in this area at the Norwegian Opera for eight years before her breakthrough in 1967 in Claudine's role in CanCan.Døvigen, the widow of financier Halvor Astrup, was the mother of the actress Ulrikke Hansen Døvigen and lived in Bath, England.

John Martin Jacobsen (born 27 December 1944) is a Norwegian film producer. He is the leader of the Norwegian production company Filmkameratene, and has produced more than 30 Norwegian movies.
Jacobsen has received several awards for his work. In 2003 he was awarded the Amanda Committee's Honorary Award. In 2008 he was appointed commander of the Order of St. Olav, for the work he has done for Norwegian film.Jacobsen grew up in Osterhaus gate, Oslo. His mother was a stay-at-home mom, and his dad was a ship officer. He lived right next to a cinema, where he spent a lot of time. He started earning money by delivering newspapers, but as a 15 year old he got hired by the local cinema. The man in charge of the cinema realized that Jacobsen had an extreme interest for film, and wanted him to be in charge of setting up their film program, earning 2% of the turnover.

Ingrid I. Willoch (8 October 1943 – 23 November 2017) was a Norwegian politician.
She was born in Oslo to Finn Isaachsen Willoch and Kaja Beck. She was elected representative to the Storting for the period 1981–1985 for the Conservative Party. She was reelected for the period 1985–1989. She died on 23 November 2017 at the age of 74.

Henrik Eiler Støren Bahr (3 October 1902 – 27 July 1982) was a Norwegian judge.
He was born in Christiania, a son of dentist Frithjof Bahr. He was appointed Justice of the Supreme Court of Norway from 1945. He was member of the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague from 1957.
He was decorated Commander of the Swedish Order of the Polar Star, and Commander of the Order of St. Olav. He died in July 1982 and was buried at Vestre gravlund.

Arne Strand (17 March 1944 – 10 May 2023) was a Norwegian journalist and politician for the Labour Party. He was the political editor in the newspaper Dagsavisen until his death.
Strand graduated from the University of Oslo with the cand.mag. degree in 1968. He worked as a journalist in Vårt Land from 1964 to 1966, in Arbeiderbladet from 1966 to 1976, and in the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation from 1976 to 1987. Between 1987 and 1989 he was a State Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister, as a part of Gro Harlem Brundtland's second cabinet.Having been political editor and news editor in his later years with the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, in 1990 he was hired as political editor in Arbeiderbladet, which in 1997 changed its name to Dagsavisen. He was acting editor-in-chief from 2004 to 2005 and from 2009. From 1999 to 2006 he chaired the Norwegian branch of the International Press Institute.Strand was the adoptive father of the television host Christian Strand.Strand died on 10 May 2023, at the age of 79. He had been ill with cancer for 17 years prior to his death.

Donald Clayton Bergus (February 26, 1920 South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, USA – April 12, 1998) was a US career diplomat and expert on south-west Asia.
Born in 1920 in South Bend, Indiana to George and Grace Bergus, Donald then went on to study Law at the University of Chicago. In 1942, Donald was appointed to the Foreign Service, beginning his 40-year-long service, and initially sent to Baghdad.
In 1967, as the Egyptian government severed diplomatic relations with the US government, Bergus was appointed to represent his country's interests in Cairo by managing the US Interests Section from the Spanish embassy. He held that position until February 1972, when succeeded by Joseph Nathaniel Greene. In 1977-1980 he served as US Ambassador to Sudan.
Donald died in 1998 leaving behind his wife, Elizabeth R Bergus, and his three grown children.

Richard Hempstead Donald (November 3, 1922 in Johannesburg, South Africa – March 12, 1984) was an American diplomat. He was the son of George Kenneth Donald, U.S. Consul General at Windsor, Ontario, and married Jean Randolph Plass in 1944. He graduated from Yale University in 1943 and served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946.He served as acting Consul General to the Republic of Singapore from the summer of 1965, when the embassy opened, until April 1966. He was named chargé d'affaires on April 4, 1966, serving in that position until September 1966.

William Ryan Dawson (24 August 1927 – 8 March 2020) was an American zoologist and ornithologist and emeritus professor of zoology at the University of Michigan. He is known in the field of ornithology for his comparative studies on desert and closely related non-desert birds in the south-western United States, Mexico and Australia.
