The Professional Performing Arts School, colloquially known as PPAS, is a public middle and high school specializing in the performing arts, located in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City.Since 2010, the Waterwell Drama Program (WDP) has been in residency at PPAS. Founded in 2002 by Arian Moayed and Tom Ridgely, Waterwell provides a conservatory-style drama training program and produces the school's theatrical performances.PPAS maintains professional partnerships with several nearby dance and drama schools, including the School of American Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and the Juilliard School.
