Luis Sangel Arráez (born April 9, 1997) is a Venezuelan professional baseball second baseman for the Miami Marlins of Major League Baseball (MLB). Arráez signed with the Minnesota Twins as an international free agent in 2013, and made his MLB debut with them in 2019. In 2022, Arráez was an All-Star and won the American League batting title and a Silver Slugger Award. In the 2022–2023 offseason, the Twins traded him to the Marlins.
For his hitting prowess, he is nicknamed "La Regadera" (Spanish for "The Sprinkler"). He hit for the cycle on April 11, 2023 against the Phillies, making him the first Marlins player to do so, and tied an MLB record in June 2023 for the most 5-hit games in a single month, earning his second All-Star selection in the process. Arráez won the National League batting title in 2023, becoming the second player in the modern era to win a batting title in each league and the first to do so in consecutive years. Arráez represents the Venezuelan national team in international competition.
