The Belgian Building, also known as the Belgian Friendship Building or Belgian Pavilion, is a historic building located in Richmond, Virginia. It was originally constructed as the exhibition building for Belgium at the 1939 New York World's Fair in New York City. While initially intended to be reconstructed in Belgium following the fair, the building was instead donated to Virginia Union University due to Belgium's occupation by Nazi Germany during World War II. A portion of the complex was named Barco-Stevens Hall in the 1950s and as of 2022 served as Virginia Union's gym. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970.
